Templos que maravillan (Marvel Temples)

Los templos egipcios fueron creados para asombrar a sus contemporáneos y lograron tan bien su cometido que aún en pleno siglo XXI continúan haciéndolo. No tengo palabras para describir su belleza y grandiosidad. He visitado muchos lugares hermosos y me he maravillado muchas veces pero los templos egipcios superaron mis expectativas.
 Egyptian temples were created to astonish their contemporaries and they were so successful that even in the XXI century they continue to amaze us. I have no words to describe its beauty and grandeur. I have visited many beautiful places and I have wondered many times but the Egyptian temples exceeded my expectations.

Una buena forma de disfrutarlos es estudiando el tema previamente. Antes de viajar o durante el viaje podemos leer libros, enciclopedias, revistas, etc (¡la literatura sobre el Antiguo Egipto es muy amplia y para todos los gustos!) y familiarizarnos con el diseño de los templos, su simbología, historia, etc. Esto nos permite evitar los guías turísticos que hacen una descripción muy rápida y memorizada sobre cada templo haciendo que el grupo de turistas recorra el lugar rapidamente a su beneficio. ¡ A mi se me hace difícil seguir este procedimiento porque muchas veces lo que el guía muestra rápidamente no es lo que más me llama la atención, y muchas veces dejan de lado detalles maravillosos.
A good way to enjoy them is studying the issue previously. Before travelling or during the trip, we can read books, encyclopaedias, magazines, etc. (the literature about ancient Egypt is very big and for everyone!) and become familiar with the design of temples, its symbolism, history, etc.. This allows us to avoid the tourist guides which describe very fast in a memorized way the temple making the group of tourists wandered around quickly as per their own advantage. It is hard for me to follow this procedure because happen that many times what the guides show quickly is not what most caught my attention, and often they leave out wonderful details. 

Estos recintos están hechos para contemplarlos sin prisa y respetando el tiempo de cada uno.
 These places are made to enjoy them slowly and respecting our own time.

Sus paredes están pobladas de símbolos que podemos identificar por nosotros mismo si vamos medianamente preparados.
 Its walls are full of symbols and we can identify them by ourselves if we are little bit prepared.

Algunos templos se pueden visitar de noche lo que les da una perspectiva diferente.
 Some temples can be visited at night which gives them a different perspective.

Es muy divertido encontrar por nosotros mismos detalles tan increíbles como partes de pintura original en los techos (tienen más de 4000 años de antiguedad)
 It is very fun to find ourselves so incredible details like part of original paintings on the ceilings (they have more than 4000 years old)
