El Taj Mahal se encuentra en Agra, ciudad de la India. En 1983 fue reconocido por la UNESCO como Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Agra queda cerca de Delhi, de dos a tres horas en tren. Muchos trenes pasan diariamente por esta ciudad porque está en la linea Delhi- Bombay. También se puede ir en bus (5 horas)
Está abierto de 6am a 7pm, de sábados a jueves. Muchos convierten esta visita en pasaje de un día en su camino a VARANASI, pero en realidad vale la pena quedarse ya que Agra tiene varias cosas muy interesantes de ver. Hay varios hoteles económicos en los alrededores del Taj Mahal con un pequeño restaurante en la azotea que permiten desayunar con una vista digna de un rey, o de una reina :)
The Taj Mahal is located in Agra, India. In 1983 it was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Agra is near Delhi, two to three hours by train. Many trains pass daily through this city because it is in the Delhi-Mumbai line. You can also go by bus (5 hours)
It is open from 6am to 7pm, Saturday to Thursday. Many make this visit in passage of a day on his way to Varanasi, but really worth staying in this city as Agra has several interesting things to see. There are several cheap hotels near the Taj Mahal with a small rooftop restaurant allowing breakfast with a view fit for a king, or a queen :)
