Encuentro de dos ríos sagrados // Meeting of two sacred rivers

Allahabad is a major city of India, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Here, the worldwide famous and very important to the Indian culture, sacred rivers Ganges and Yamuna meet to each other.

Baños ceremoniales en el encuentro de los ríos// Ritual baths at the meeting of the rivers.

Boats are available to bring you to the place of meeting. Tourists do not come here, but if we want to see and to get the experience of "what is really important" then we cannot miss this visit :) Do not forget to buy a small offering of flowers at the riverside before getting on the boat.

                                              Barquero/ boatman

Two things you can do when you arrive at the meeting point of the rivers:
                                               Bañarse....
                                               Bathing ....

                                          o hacer una ofrenda... :)
or to make an offering ... :)

And if you dare to swim (like me), this option is also valid hehe:

It is a place of peace and tranquility.

These photo itself tells the story of the Sangam. Really amazing photos. Thanks for uploading these photos and writing your blog in Spanish and in English too.
