Cuttack es una de las ciudades más antiguas del estado de Orissa, en India, siendo su capital hasta 1950. Hoy en día es una caótica ciudad donde podemos encontrar uno de los mejores trabajos en filigrana.
Cuttack is one of the oldest cities in the state of Orissa in India. It was its  capital until 1950. Today it is a chaotic city where we can find one of the best works in filigree. 

Estas piezas de joyería están hechas con hilos finísimos de oro o plata y son parte de la tradición de la zona. Varias calles están dedicadas a las tiendas de joyería donde podemos encontrar piezas para todos los bolsillos.

Después de maravillarnos con estos delicados trabajos podemos visitar las ruinas del fuerte Barabati construido en el siglo XIV. No queda mucho del palacio de nueve pisos que fue una gran maravilla para su tiempo.

After marveling at this delicate work you can visit the ruins of Barabati fort built in the fourteenth century. There is not much of the nine-floors palace that was a great marvel for its time
