Conociendo el Mar Arábigo//Meeting Arabian Sea

Conocer por primera vez el Mar de Arabia desde Bombay, la ciudad más poblada de la India, donde conviven alrededor de 19 millones de personas más turistas y viajeros de todo tipo, no es la mejor idea. Por lógica la playa metropolitana está bastante sucia pero igual es emocionante mojar los pies en uno de los mares más exóticos del mundo :)

To meet for the first time the Arabian Sea from Mumbai, the most populous city in India, where live about 19 million of people more tourists and all type of travelers, is not the best way. Logically the metropolitan beach is quite dirty but it is still exciting to dip our feet in one of the most exotic seas of the world :)

Los hindúes no se desvisten en la playa, en especial las mujeres. En playas más alejadas de las ciudades los hombres más jóvenes se quitan la camisa para bañarse pero las mujeres pasan su día de playa de sari, comiendo sentadas en la arena y mojándose los pies de vez en cuando. En esta playa que se encuentra en plena ciudad los hombres se bañan completamente vestido con pantalones y camisas.

Indians, specially women, do not take off the clothes at the beach. In more remote beaches younger men remove their shirt for bathing but women spend their day at the beach in sari, eating sitting on the sand and getting wet feet from time to time. But this beach is located right in the city then men bathe fully dressed in trousers and shirts.

Esta ciudad posee una rambla muy amplia, ideal para pasear, aunque la polución del aire baña todo de un color grisáceo :(

This city has a wide promenade edge of the sea for walking, although the high pollution makes all to look in gray colour :(

Igual he hecho la vista gorda a estos detalles que eran de esperarse y he disfrutado viendo como los locales pasan una tarde de playa en este lado del mundo.

So I have turned a blind eye to these details that were to be expected and enjoyed watching the local people enjoying an afternoon in the beach on this side of the world.
